Broker Direct Plc has been working with many insurers successfully delivering personal lines products to the broker market since it was established in 1997, including Polaris products since 2005. During this time, we have worked with all major software house platforms and insurer hosted systems.
With our team of Product Writers, Project Managers, Business Analysts and ISTQB accredited Test Analysts, we can provide you with support throughout or at any point in your journey in a consultancy or contractual capacity. Our team of 12 has over 75 years combined experience working with Polaris!
Our Developers have an insurance background, combined with extensive Polaris programming experience. With a proven history in testing (including EDI, XML, UAT and Polaris batch testing) we can help ensure you deliver a quality product to market.

Product Build & Testing Experience
Primarily personal lines experience (Motor and Home) using standard data dictionaries. Our team’s expertise includes:
- ProductWriter scheme design, programming, maintenance and/or support
- Experience with differing rating methods (including tiered and peril rating)
- XML and EDI messaging
- ProductWriter external rating files
Whilst predominantly experienced in personal lines, our team also has commercial product build experience using bespoke software including:
